Our Forest Essential Oil Kit is a collection of grounding green oils that will bring the aroma of the outdoors right into your home. Great for uplifting your mood and freshening the air, add to perfume blends, cleaning recipes, diffusers, and body care formulations. Use alone or blend together to make a personalized aroma. Add a few drops to unscented shampoo, homemade liquid hand soap, or your favorite go-to cleaning formula for added plant-power.
This collection comes with storage tips for your essential oils, basic blending and dilution tips, and detailed descriptions for each oil including aroma notes, suggested uses, and blending ideas. Our essential oil kits are packaged in a recyclable clamshell that has not been bleached or dyed and contains no glue. They are molded from 100% recycled paper pulp. Each oil is packaged in a 5 mL bottle with an orifice reducer cap.
Organic fir needle (Abies balsamea) The crisp coniferous aroma of fir needle essential oil has a soft-green scent. It evokes the comforting feel of being surrounded by an evergreen forest.
Organic juniper berry (Juniperus communis) A crisp smelling oil that has a woody, sweet, and earthy aroma, juniper has an almost hidden fruity note. It is both spiritually and environmentally cleansing.
Organic cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) The fresh, evergreen aroma of cypress essential oil has lovely balsamic undertones. It is a calming and soothing oil used for focus and healthy breathing.
Virginia cedarwood (Juniperus virginiana) This oil is dry, woody, and smooth with a strong resemblance to cedar chests. It is slightly softer than other cedar oils.
Organic scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris) Scotch pine has a dry-balsamic aroma with turpentine-like notes and hints of fresh earth.
Safety
Essential oils are very concentrated and highly volatile. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified healthcare practitioner. Keep away from children and pets.
Before using perform a small patch test on your inner forearm or back. Apply a small quantity of properly diluted essential oil and cover with a bandage. If you experience any irritation use carrier oil or cream to further dilute the essential oil on the skin, and wash with soap and water. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours, it is safe to use on your skin. Learn more about using essential oils here.
