Organic Bulgarian rose essential oil is steam distilled from the flower petals of Rosa damascena. This middle note has a sweet rosy floral scent with hints of spice. It takes nearly 10,000 lbs of rose petals to distill one pound of oil. Bulgarian rose oil is used in facial care oils or creams and is popular in perfumes. Blends well with patchouli, neroli, chamomile, or ginger.
This oil, along with all true hydrodistilled rose oils, will congeal to a thin paste if kept in temperatures under 72 degrees farenheit.
