Organic fennel essential oil is a middle note steam distilled from the seeds of Foeniculum vulgare. Fennel oil has an aroma like sweet licorice and anise and is popular for abdominal massage. The ancient Greeks thought fennel conveyed long life, courage, and strength. Their name for fennel was marathrion from maraino, meaning “to grow thin”. It blends well with cardamom, ginger, lavender, or lemon.

Blends Well With
Bergamot, black pepper, cardamom, cypress, dill, fir, geranium, ginger, grapefruit, juniper, lavender, lemon, mandarin, marjoram, niaouli, orange, pine, rose, rosemary, sandalwood, and tangerine

Packaging
1/2 oz. and 1 oz. essential oils are packaged in amber glass bottles with drop reducers for easy application. Larger sizes are packaged in amber screw cap bottles and do not come with reducers or droppers.

Precautions
This oil may interact with certain drugs, may modulate reproductive hormones, may inihibit blood clotting, cause skin sensitization if oxidized, and is potentially carcinogenic based on estragole content. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.
