Product Details

The small evergreen olive tree is a native of the Mediterranean regions, and has naturalized to climates as diverse as Australia, California, and Texas. It has been cultivated for over 3,000 years. Olive was used for food and for healing purposes by the ancient Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians. The renowned green to blue-black fruit of this tree produces an incredibly useful, edible oil. Both the oil and the dried green-grayish hued leaves are used in herbal recipes. Bitter and astringent, olive leaf is employed in traditional herbal practices for its wellness-promoting qualities. Typical preparations for using olive leaves include as a tonic, tincture, and infusion as olive tea.

Our olive leaf extract is macerated with organic olive leaves and organic alcohol by our expert extract team for quality and effectiveness. Olive tincture is somewhat aromatic and has a distinctive bitter taste. This extract pairs well with others such as hawthorn berry extract and immune care extract blend. It can be taken in water or juice or added to your favorite cup of tea like grateful heart tea.
