Product Details

Yellow dock bears long, thin leaves that curl at the edges, lending the name curly dock. The plant produces multiple clusters of three-winged flowers. It has seeds that are initially green in summer, transitioning to deep red as they mature. The root of yellow dock is bright yellow below the bark, and is harvested in late summer once the seeds have begun to turn red. These thick, fleshy roots have been employed in traditional herbal practices for their wellness-supporting properties. Rumex crispus can be decocted as a tea, crafted into a syrup, extracted, or infused into oil for topical applications.

Made in small batches in Eugene, Oregon using organic alcohol, our organic yellow dock extract is made with care and quality. This liquid tincture is aromatic, earthy, and somewhat bitter, with a hint of astringency. It can be taken in water or juice or paired with other extracts like dandelion root or burdock. Yellow dock tincture can be added to teas such as spring care or vita-blend for a healthful boost.

Organic alcohol, water, and fresh organic yellow dock root.
