Lobelia inflata is native to the northeastern United States and Canada and has a long history of traditional uses. The plant has flowers that are white and pale blue and produces inflated seed pods that lend “inflata” to its botanical name. It is wise to treat this powerful herb with much deserved respect. Lobelia is a quick acting herb that is warming and dry and has an affinity for the respiratory system.

Our lobelia is macerated using fresh organic aerial portions and organic grain alcohol. Lobelia tincture has a distinctively acrid flavor. It can be taken on its own or in water or juice. Lobelia extract can be blended with mullein extract. It also combines well with our spring care tea or echinacea & elder tea.
