Croton echioides is a small tree native to northeastern Brazil. The bark from the stems has been widely used for centuries for its beneficial properties. Muira puama is considered energetically warming with a reputation for its relaxing qualities and as a tonic herb to help support the functioning of the reproduction system. Muira puama has an extensive history of use across Europe and South America that spans hundreds of years and was listed in the Herbal Pharmacopoeia of Great Britain.

Our muira puama extract is made in small batches at our extract facility in Eugene, Oregon. Taking this highly aromatic, piquant liquid in lukewarm water with a small amount of lemon juice assists with the absorption of the tannins in the extract. It also can be combined with other extracts such as ashwagandha extract or male care extract blend. Muira puama tincture pairs well with our happy man tea.
