Product Details

Tanacetum parthenium is an herbaceous perennial in the daisy family with small white flowers and pinnate leaves. Similar in appearance to chamomile, feverfew has its own unique healthful qualities and has been utilized for centuries. Feverfew is native throughout Europe and Asia and has a long history of use in traditional European herbalism.

Feverfew’s name stems from its long use as a diaphoretic and its traditional uses support its affinity for the head. Feverfew leaf has many historical uses and was often employed as a tonic herb and a woman specific herb in European folk herbalism. Once feverfew made it to North America, Eclectic physicians often employed it as a digestive tonic amongst its other wellness promoting qualities.

Our feverfew extract is macerated using fresh organic aerial portions and organic alcohol. Feverfew tincture has a distinctive taste which is slightly bitter and pungent. It can be used in topical applications or taken internally. Add feverfew extract to water or fruit juice. It also combines well with chamomile extract, white willow extract, and more to create a personalized liquid extract blend.
