Product Details

Pfaffia paniculata is a ground vine native to Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. For centuries, suma root has been used in traditional Amazonian herbalism for its adaptogenic and wellness-supporting qualities. Although nicknamed Brazilian ginseng, the root is not actually a member of the ginseng family but belongs to the Amaranthaceae botanical family. Suma root is also referred to as para tudo (translating from Spanish as “for all”) and has an extensive history of use as a food source and an herbal tonic by indigenous tribes to increase health and wellbeing.

Suma extract can be added to herbal formulations for its vanilla-like flavor and vigor. Start your day with a botanical boost by adding suma tincture to your morning beverage or smoothie. Or add the liquid extract to your midday herbal tea such as berry bramble tea or herbal coffee. Suma extract can be blended with other botanicals such as schisandra extract to form your own unique blend or simply take directly under the tongue or in water or juice.
