We anticipate your order will be processed and shipped from our facility within a couple of business days. Major holidays may delay us a little.*

If you have selected 2 Day or 3 Day expedited shipping, the order must be received by 2pm PST. Orders received after 2pm PST, or on the weekend, will not be processed until the following business day. Processing time is not counted towards time the order spends in transit.

Our preferred carriers are UPS and USPS Priority Mail, and if your order exceeds 200 pounds we may opt for USF Reddaway Truck Lines.

You may select which shipping method you prefer upon checkout or with a customer service representative. If you wish to have an order shipped to a PO box, you must select USPS Priority Mail, as UPS does not deliver to PO boxes.

For Alaska, HI, PR, US protectorates and territories, and all APO and FPO addresses we ship via USPS Priority Mail and these orders are processed and shipped every 48-72 hours. This option is available upon checkout when ordering online.

*Exclusions to this timeframe include Canadian orders, orders placed on Friday through Sunday, orders for Puerto Rico and APO addresses, large bulk orders, and orders placed prior to and during major US holidays. Please see our Shipping Chart for ship time estimates.


We are not currently able to offer Next Day expedited shipping and only offer 2 Day and 3 Day Air services. Expedited orders cannot exceed a 50lbs weight limit and we are not able to ship our Essential Oils via this service due to their low flash point.  No Saturday delivery options available.

Expedited 2 Day and 3 Day UPS shipments represent the actual time in transit on business days only. Please allow one additional day for processing, packing, and shipping. Orders with expedited shipping that are placed before 2pm PST, Monday through Friday, will ship the following business day.  For example, if you place an order on Monday before 2:00pm PST and select 2 Day Air shipping, you will not receive your parcel until Thursday. Processing time is not included in the total time it will take for your package to arrive. Orders that are placed after 2pm PST, or on the weekend, will not be processed until the following business day and this will add an additional day before it ships out.

*Delivery time is calculated according to actual "business days" and does not include weekends or holidays. These delivery times are estimated by the carrier and are not guaranteed, unless an expedited shipping method is selected. These delivery times do not include the time taken to process and fulfill your order at our facilities, and this should only be used as a transit average. All domestic orders within the United States typically take 3-10 days to arrive to you after your order has shipped out from Mountain Rose Herbs.


For online and phone orders we charge shipping based on UPS and USPS rates with a small handling fee. These charges are calculated and automated within our shopping cart system, and they are clearly displayed in your cart and during the checkout process. If you wish to use your own UPS account number, please provide this to us in the Special Instructions field and we will ship your order on your own account, and no shipping charges shall apply.


Due to increased restrictions by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) we are not able to ship some liquids classified as flammable or combustible because of low flash points through USPS Priority mail. These products include the majority of our Essential Oil line.

However, we are able to send these Mountain Rose Herbs products through UPS Ground. When placing these items in your shopping cart, you may notice that your shipping options become restricted to UPS Ground. This is a good indicator that we require a physical address in the lower 48 states in order to ship these products to you. 

If you provide a shipping address that we are not able to ship the restricted items to, no shipping options will be available, and an error message will display instead. This is particularly true if the package is intended to ship to Canada, APO/FPO/DPO, Hawaii, Alaska, our Territories and Protectorates, or a PO Box address. If we receive an order with restricted or prohibited items on it, and we determine that we cannot ship these to the destination provided on the order, we will process the order without the restricted item(s) or we may contact you for an alternative shipping address.

Our Herbal Extracts, Bitters, Syrups, and Tonics contain Ethyl Alcohol.  As such, there are size specific shipping restrictions that may apply, or we may not be able to send them to certain addresses at all.  As stated above, either the only shipping option that will be available to you at that point will be UPS Ground or there will be no shipping options and the error message will display instead. Removing restricted items from your cart will allow you to proceed with your order so that we can send the remaining products you wish to purchase from us.

Canadian Restrictions: Products with restricted shipping to Canada include the majority of our Essential oils line, and all Extracts, Bitters, Elixirs, Tonics and Syrups. Sorry, but we are unable to ship these products to Canada at this time, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you in advance for your understanding and our most sincere apologies.
