Rich with luxurious, fluffy lather, these shampoo bars are a treat for the scalp and hair! Although they may seem like a novel idea, solid shampoos were widely used prior to the 1940’s when liquid shampoos came into fashion.
These environmentally conscious shampoo bars are biodegradable to help keep our water supply clean, and come in recyclable cardboard boxes—eliminating the plastic packaging so common with hair products! They are organic, vegan, cruelty-free, and rainforest alliance certified.
Made from organic ingredients, these botanical shampoo bars are handcrafted with care in small batches by our friends at Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve. They are great for the gym, camping, and traveling, and can double as body or shaving soap.
As these shampoo bars have no synthetic ingredients or detergents, your hair may have a transition period while the hair and scalp become accustomed to the difference in ingredients. Using an apple cider vinegarhair rinseor a baking soda rinse a few times a month can help your hair transition from commercial liquid shampoos.
