Organic Spanish marjoram essential oil is a middle note steam distilled from the Thymus mastichina flowering plant. It contains1,8-cineole, camphor, and α- and β-pinene. With its bright powerful scent, Spanish marjoram makes a nice addition to topical salves and stimulating diffuser blends.
It should not be used interchangeable with sweet marjoram. These oils have different key constituents. Spanish marjoram can be used in similar ways as other 1,8-cineole rich oils like eucalyptus and rosemary. This middle note has a camphoraceous and medicinal scent that is popular in aromatherapy and cleansing recipes. Blends well with chamomile, tangerine, basil, or black pepper.

Packaging 1/2 oz., 1 oz., and 2 oz. essential oils are packaged in amber glass bottles with drop reducers for easy application.

Precautions This oil may be high in 1,8-cineole, which can cause CNS and breathing problems in young children. Never use essential oils undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.
Before using topically, perform a small patch test on your inner forearm or back by applying a small quantity of diluted essential oil and apply a bandage. Wash the area if you experience any irritation. If no irritation occurs after 48 hours it is safe to use on your skin.
