Fall in love with this amazing black tea solely produced in Japan. Mostly known for green teas, Japan began producing this floral, malty sweet black tea in the late 19th, early 20th century to tap into the world market for black teas dominated by India and China. Harvested in the warm summer months from the Yabukita cultivar, Wakocha tea is less bitter and astringent than its Indian and Sri Lankan black tea counterparts, with a more floral and honey aroma. Available in 1.7 oz. retail jar, 3 oz. retail tin, and 1 lb. size.
Contains caffeine.
