Our Za’atar spice blend is not to be confused with the Lebanese oregano herb that goes by the same name. This sumac-based blend is inspired by the flavors of the Za’atar herb which is difficult to find and is used in much of the same ways.   

The versatility of the za’atar blend is what makes it a great addition to any spice rack. It can be baked into breads, mixed with olive oil or tahini for dips, tossed with salads, rubbed onto proteins, or simply sprinkled on hummus.  Za’atar’s earthy, nutty, zesty, and tangy flavors are a great addition to just about any meal.

Ingredients:

Organic sesame seeds, organic sumac berry powder, fine Himalayan pink salt, organic thyme, organic marjoram, and organic oregano leaf.

Our bottled organic spice blends are packaged in clear glass bottles with a shaker top that also features a convenient pour and measuring spout. 4 oz. and 1 lb. sizes are packaged in clear, resealable plastic stand up pouches.
