We formulated this combination extract with new moms in mind. This blend features a synergy of herbs that traditionally have been used to support healthy lactation. This extract is a crucial component for the months after birthing, during the time of pampering the little ones with love, comfort, and the best nutrition.
Our nurse me care combination extract can be taken with juice or water or dispensed on the tongue and includes:
Fenugreek: For thousands of years, fenugreek has been used for culinary and wellness purposes within traditional healing practices such as Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and in European folk herbalism. Fenugreek seeds were typically utilized in Ayurveda as well as in traditional European herbalism to support digestion, support lactation in nursing mothers, and in topical applications.
Fennel: This seed has been employed for its wellness supporting properties in a variety of global healing modalities including European folk herbalism, Ayurveda, and TCM. Fennel seeds gently support healthy digestion and are traditionally used to relieve occasional gas and bloating.* These energetically warming seeds are taken as a carminative, to nourish the brain, and to calm the spirit.
Alfalfa: The leaves are known for their nutritious qualities. Medicago sativa has been used as a digestive support in TCM and as a culinary food in India. In American folk medicine, it has been administered as a nutritive tonic.
Blessed Thistle: A botanical used in Europe as a digestive stimulant and nutritive tonic since the Middle Ages. Blessed thistle is also employed in Ayurvedic medicine for its beneficial properties and is considered energetically cooling and drying with a bitter taste.
Nettle: Urtica dioica has been used worldwide for centuries in a variety of countries and cultures. The leaves are harvested in the spring once the plant has had time to mature but before it flowers. Nettles are rich in nutrients and offer an abundance of health benefits.
Red Raspberry: The leaf is considered astringent due to the presence of tannins in its constituents. Raspberry leaf is also rich in minerals, making it a very beneficial botanical. Its use is regularly employed by women due to its affinity for the wellness of females.
