INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT
Our laboratory and Quality Control team works closely with the American Herbal Products Association. Founded in 1982, AHPA is the oldest of the non-profit organizations specializing in service to the herbal industry. It is the voice of the herbal products industry and the recognized leader in representing the botanical trade. With more than 300 members, AHPA's membership represents the finest growers, processors, manufacturers, and marketers of botanical and herbal products.
We currently participate in many of the scientific and trade committees hosted by this essential organization. Steven Yeager, our Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, has been elected to the AHPA Board of Trustees since 2011. The AHPA committees are responsible for maintaining standards, implementing programs, influencing regulation, and enhancing the scientific protocols within the herbal products industry. All of this work further enhances our quality control procedures and helps to promote safe and reliable products and protocols throughout the industry.
