Product Details

Native to Europe and Asia and naturalized in North America, meadowsweet produces lovely, bright white flowers that eclipse the meadow with their predominance, lending the name “Queen of the Meadow”. A member of the Rosaceae family, this herb was employed in traditional European healing practices and was commonly used to flavor wines, meads, and vinegars.

Filipendula ulmaria is a potent aromatic, bearing astringent and diuretic properties. Meadowsweet has an affinity for the digestive and musculoskeletal systems. It is a prolific herb that has been utilized and revered for ages.

Our organic meadowsweet extract is made in small batches at our extract facility in Eugene, Oregon by our expert team for quality and efficacy. Meadowsweet blends well with turmeric extract and ginger extract. It has a pleasing aroma and can be dispensed directly on the tongue or in juice or water. Meadowsweet tincture is a nice addition to happy tummy tea or turmeric chai tea.
