Organic palmarosa essential oil is steam distilled from the grass of Cymbopogon martinii. This middle note has a sweet geranium-like aroma and is often used in skin care formulations. Geraniol, which is considered a natural source for the constituent, is extracted from this essential oil. Palmarosa oil blends well with juniper, cedarwood, rosemary, or sandalwood oils.
