Organic sage hydrosol is an herbaceous water-steam distillation of fresh green culinary sage leaves. Considered a balancing astringent, sage hydrosol makes a wonderful base for facial toners and deodorant sprays.
An ancient aromatic ally, sage has been cultivated for over 4,000 years. Regarded as an herb for prosperity and wisdom, sage has high reverence with countless uses across many cultures.
Our organic sage hydrosol is created using common culinary sage, and it possesses a light green scent with subtle dry highlights. This hydrosol is beneficial for oily skin, though it will suit any skin type and is a great toner for the scalp. For times of disharmony, sage hydrosol is balancing and comforting.
Considered stimulating, cleansing, and astringent, organic sage hydrosol makes a wonderful base for facial toners and deodorant sprays. As a deodorant, spray directly on the underarms or create your own personal deodorant blend with essential oils such as tea tree, lavender, or basil. Energetically sage is uplifting yet grounding, providing a stable base for invigorating room sprays and body mists.
Our sage hydrosol is artfully distilled in the Pacific Northwest via water-steam distillation of freshSalvia officinalis. Suitable for cosmetic use.
Packaging The 3oz. and 8oz. sizes come in an amber glass bottle with a mister top. 16 oz., 64 oz., and 1 gallon bulk sizes come in plastic bottles without misters. Our 8oz size hydrosols are currently transitioning to an HDPE plastic bottle with a twist top.
Labels We are currently transitioning to a new label for our hydrosols. During this time you may receive either label on the different sizes as we make the shift.
